My favorite thing about the Kansas Association of Broadcast was the part explaining what a PSA really is supposed to be. They explain a PSA as "The goal of a PSA is simple: To get someone to take a specific action. It’s not to talk about the sponsoring organization. It’s to motivate the targeted audience to act..."(KAB). This statement makes the idea of making my own PSA simple and manageable. I also need to make sure my PSA is clear and has a specific message.

PSA Links

PSA 1)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tY-ZrWL6DAI

In this PSA they use a famous public figure, who could be convincing to a certain audience. It was simple and easy because it was one person. It also was serious because of Larry King.

PSA 2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N3MrrKUYgM

In this PSA the creators use adorable little children who are very convincing. The children are young and make adults or others want to help them because they are innocent children.

PSA3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHgNG2dv8ug

In this PSA it was a stereotypical announcement, but it served it's purpose and had a very clear message. I liked the voice over by the lady because she had a very clear voice.
